Conrad Janis was an award-winning American jazz trombonist and actor who is widely popular for playing the role of Mindy McConnell’s father, Frederick, on television’s Mork & Mindy.

At the age of 13, Conrad Janis wanted to have a career in acting. He was successful at auditioning for a road company. During the same time, he also worked for a radio voice.

Unfortunately, Conrad Janis has passed on to eternity at the age of 94. He died on March 1, 2022, in Los Angeles, California, in the United States of America.  An organ failure caused his death.

The late Conrad Janis is survived by two children and his wife Maria Grimm.
